Client: Museum of Vancouver
In order to bring the The Museum of Vancouver’s incredible collection of 1920’s fashion to life, we were hired to transform their large Studio Gallery into a immersive hotsy-totsy musical raz-taz juice joint for one crazy night. Hundreds of decked-out attendees gathered to toast the Art Deco style of the inter-war period over a round (or two) of “special juice” and 20’s Charleston dance. The night included re-mixed archival footage projections courtesy of Publik Secrets, multiple bombastic live sets by Maria In The Shower, The Myrtle Family Band, and Martin and His Tatterdemalions. To top it off, Dusty Flowerpot Dancers led all of us in a massive 1920’s dance juke and jive 2-step!
